Marauders 2 Information

History: Marauders 2 was based on an old game I originally made some time ago. The game was subsequently extended and the bugs were ironed out to give you the best gaming experience this online game has to offer.

On an interesting side note there were four original Marauder games made in total, so the game you are playing now is actually a greatly improved version of the original Marauders 2.

How it all works: On every wave there are ten slimy alien ships to dispose of. You have unlimited ammo so you should focus on timing your shots, and dodging the the alien lasers that practically fill the sky on later levels. See below for some tips on getting the best score.

The alien ships are unstable so they fire in a somewhat random direction in random intervals. As the wave difficulty increases however the alien ships are more and more likely to fire in shorter intervals.

The ships currently have two strategies to watch out for: the first one involves bobbing up and down while strafing from side to side, while the second one involves moving all over the battlefield seemingly at random.

Quick Tips on becoming the Best

Pay attention to what's going on around your ship. You have limited health that does not regenerate. Since enemy ships shoot lasers at incredible rates on the later waves a lapse of concentration could mean a quick death under a hale of fire.

Watch out for the beginning of every wave. Every wave usually starts with a volley of shots from the aliens, which gets harder to dodge on later waves.
